Does soaking your feet in apple cider vinegar help with neuropathy?

Hi everyone, I read that soaking your feet in a solution of Epsom salt and apple cider vinegar could help relieve the burning symptoms of neuropathy. The Epsom salt part, I can understand, but apple cider vinegar? How does that help?

Research shows that apple cider vinegar contains magnesium, phosphorous, calcium and potassium. These are all necessary for dealing with nerve pain. Likewise, apple cider vinegar has strong anti-inflammatory properties. These two reasons account for why apple cider is used in the treating neuropathy.

There isn't enough evidence to categorically assert that soaking your feet in apple cider vinegar (ACV) will help in treating neuropathy. However, there is some evidence verifying the effectiveness of ACV in controlling inflammation and relieving pain generally. The chances are high that using apple cider vinegar will help treat neuropathy.

It is difficult to make absolute statements regarding the effectiveness of apple cider vinegar or Epsom salt in treating neuropathy. There's no ample evidence to back up the claim. Soaking your feet in apple cider vinegar may ease neuropathy by reducing inflammation and improving blood circulation. The acetic acid in vinegar provides relief and comfort, while its analgesic properties can alleviate foot pain. Some people might find it helpful, but scientific proof is limited.
I also suggest getting custom insoles. They're a good choice for relieving pain and discomfort regarding foot-related issues.
