How do you give yourself a deep tissue massage for foot pain?
Asked 3 years ago
Where are the pressure points for foot pain? I don't want to try and undergo some invasive treatment for mild foot pain and I'm thinking that I can get a lot of benefit from a simple deep tissue massage. How do you give yourself a foot massage, and what is the best type of massage for foot pain?

It is quiet easy to give yourself a deep tissue foot massage. Just make sure to press on the pressure points of your feet which are generally located on the heel and the first half of your feet including your toes, specially the great toes, the mid foot is also important part to massage. Any point that feels relaxing or a little sore can be massage using the pad your thumb digging in and going in slow circles.
You can also use a tennis ball below under your feet or a frozen water bottle for a ice massage. Just place the ball or the iced bottle under your feet while sitting comfortably on a chair, just move your knee forwards and backwards while rolling the ball or iced bottle under your feet for 5-7 mins, twice a day.
