Should I use soft or hard insoles for my Plantar Fasciitis?
Asked 3 years ago
If I don't end up purchasing custom ones and just want to go with the generics because they are cheaper, should I get the hard ones or the softer ones?

It all comes down to striking the right combination between cushioning and stability.
Stability is especially important for people who have flexible feet. This can help those with plantar fasciitis elevate their arches and encourage people with high arches to lower them to a more neutral position.
The majority of people will benefit from a neutral supportive orthotic. Orthotics with good cushioning are indicated if you have tight, stiff feet, but not so soft that you can't feel the ground.
As evidenced above, all of us cant wear the same orthotics for different abnormalities. Therefore, custom orthotics are the best choice because they are made to fit the demands
Consequentially, get ideal shoes for your custom inserts. To avoid contact on the heel, where plantar fasciitis causes discomfort, the individual needs shoes with greater rigidity in the sole and cushioning in the mid-foot. A shoe with a thick midsole or a rocker bottom is excellent.
