Asked 3 years ago
Hey people, I have Plantar Fibromatosis, and it's been confirmed that I have Dupuytren's Contracture. What I don't understand is how Plantar Fibromatosis leads to Dupuytren's Contracture?

Dupuytren's Contracture is a progressive thickening and tightening of tissue under the skin of the hand. It is also known as palmar fibromatosis and has no known relationship with plantar fibromatosis. Plantar fibromatosis is otherwise known as Dupuytren's of the foot and is a thickening of the fascia in the sole of your foot.
