How long does it take for a plantar fibroma to go away?

Asked 3 years ago

I've been suffering from plantar fibroma in my foot for over a year now, and it's really starting to gnaw at me. I have had several physical therapy sessions and medical treatments. How long will it take for this thing to go away?

A year? usually fibroma don't last the long. In many cases, they shrink or disappear on their own, sometimes as suddenly as they appear. If you have one, it’s much more likely to be a minor, temporary inconvenience than a major disruption. However, it is important to mention that- there’s no known duration for a plantar fibroma- in your case, it seems to be a chronic condition.

Plantar fibromas can be bothersome and inconvenient, but they aren't dangerous and won't spread. After you've determined that you have a plantar fibroma and not another type of foot growth, you should concentrate on addressing your symptoms.

If you don't have any discomfort or other symptoms, you should be able to undertake all of your typical activities and workouts, including jogging and sports. If you have new pain or pressure after jogging or working out, consult your healthcare professional. Wearing supportive shoes, exercising on a regular basis, and stretching your plantar fascia can all assist to relieve problems. Plantar fibroma will have less of an impact on your daily routine if your general foot health is good.
