Which Ayurvedic medicine is best for nerve damage?
Asked 3 years ago
Morning everyone, I tried looking online to find any ayurvedic remedies for neuropathy, but I can't find any. Does anyone here perhaps know of any?

Yes!
Turmeric is an effective ayurvedic remedy for neuropathy. It contains curcumin, a strong antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. These combine to relieve peripheral neuropathy symptoms (numbness and tingling) in the hands and feet and prevent chronic pain. It also promotes nerve regeneration and functional recovery.

Among others, turmeric is an effective ayurvedic remedy for neuropathy (nerve damage) in terms of pain management in the early stages. Tumeric proves to be effective due to its strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects on the body, while reducing the overall pain experienced from this condition. Managing pain effectively in the early stages has been shown to reduce the chronicity of the pain in the long term. Ayurvedic medicine may not prove to be as effective in managing symptoms associated with nerve damage when compared to traditional pain alleviating medicine but may prove to have less side effects and impact on the body.
