What should I do if my foot hurts for no reason?

Asked 3 years ago

I have been feeling an intense pressure and pain in my foot, and I cannot think of any reason why this could be. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

The obvious answer would be to visit a medical professional who has trained in the diseases and conditions of the foot. At the top of this list would be your friendly neighborhood Podiatrist.

To treat a foot that hurts for no apparent reason:

1. Allow your foot to rest.

2. Stretch the muscles in your heels and feet.

3. Take pain medicines that are over-the-counter.

4. Wear shoes with a cushioned sole and strong arch support.
