How long does it take for acupuncture to work for plantar fasciitis?
Asked 3 years ago
I am in a lot of pain with my plantar fasciitis. I have heard many people say that acupuncture helped them manage the pain, but I want to know how long it will take to feel better? I don't want something that's gonna take a year, you know?

Research suggests that acupuncture causes significant pain relief after 4–8 weeks of treatment among patients with plantar fasciitis. Also, acupuncture improves collagen production, which strengthens the connective tissues of the foot and heals the ligaments by improving reducing inflammation, improving blood flow, and cell repair.
