Can insoles help to prevent overpronation while snowboarding?
Asked 2 years ago
I am starting snowboarding classes soon, and I want to make sure that I buy supportive gear so that I do not injure myself. Is it beneficial for me to buy insoles to wear inside my snowboarding boots? Will this assist me in preventing my feet from rolling inward as I move?

Insoles will not only prevent abnormal foot motion as you snowboard, they will also improve your performance. Stability around the heel will prevent overpronation of the foot as you shift your weight over the board. Likewise, proper arch support will ensure you apply maximum pressure on the edges of your board as you move along the slope.
