Do insoles help for shoes that are too big?
Asked 2 years ago
Hey guys! A pair of my shoes are too big for me, and it is causing discomfort to my feet. Therefore, I am thinking about buying an insole with hopes that it will solve the issue. Will the insole take up the extra space in the shoe so that the shoe will no longer have a loose fit? Thanks in advance for your response!

Orhtotics could be a solution to your issue that you are sitting with. If the shoes are too long, however, the orthotics may slide around within the shoe as weight is placed onto the foot and could lead to even more discomfort. If the shoes you have are not tight around the top of the foot, then the added height from the addition of the orthotics could help you with this. Wearing thicker socks with the shoes could also help you further in getting the shoes to fit comfortably.
