Should I wear insoles with Asics gel nimbus 22 shoes?
Asked 4 years ago
Just bought Asics gel nimbus 22. Does anyone use them without adding an insole? I love the feel without my insole, which has a higher arch and is harder and less cushy. Tempted to give them a test without insoles. Thoughts?

If you want the best for your feet wear your shoes with custom insoles. Even if they are uncomfortable at first you will adjust, and it will ultimately be healthier for your entire body alignment, posture, and feet. Don't forget to take out the original shoe insoles before investing your custom orthotics.

Shoes with adequate arch and foot support built into the shoe may not necessarily require the added support of insoles within the shoes, as the shoes are well enough made with support. You can do a trial of the shoes with the insoles in to see if there would be an added noticeable benefit from inserting the insoles into the shoes. This can then be compared to when wearing the shoes without the custom insoles, in an effort to determine which is best for you. Some shoes may not be as comfortable while wearing custom insoles in the shoes, while some may find great benefit from the introduction of the custom insoles. The insoles should fit comfortably within the shoe, and not limit space for the foot within the foot.
